The ocean rolls in and rolls out, never ending I fly over an azure sea, gliding on the warm sea winds Hearing your voice echo in the distance, only to taunt me

Waves crashing into the rocks relentlessly I circle down to land next to you But you turn and leave me standing in the rain

Thunder rolls through the rain, lightning striking overhead I cried, I cried out, don't haunt me, just erase the pain

Blackness falls over the sky and the moonrise lights the darkness I lie in the sand as the ocean water washes over me And your storm still rages in my heart against me

I woke to the sound of your voice, but you were only a dream You were just a fleeting shadow dancing around me Shattering my illusions of your love

Thunder rolls through the rain, lightning striking over head I cried, I cried out, don't haunt me, just erase the pain

Destiny played it's game and I fell, swirling like a whirlwind Deep in to the magic of the sea, you tried to hold me under I rose from the depths and flew away, leaving you wanting

I spread my wings, catching the wind to the midnight stars You reach up to capture me, wrap me up and cast me away I turn, leaving you crying out, come back, come back to me
